LCEF has served as the financial extension of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) since 1978, offering funding and resources in support of the Church. When you invest with LCEF, you're providing for the creation and growth of congregations and ministries across the country.

LCEF empowers LCMS ministries with every dollar invested. And with nearly 60,000 investors, we’ve been able to make a difference for thousands of ministries. We provide customized loans and support services to new and growing ministries as well as loans for Rostered Church Workers who dedicate their lives to sharing the Gospel.

Congregation Loans
Financing a loan to purchase property, construct a new facility or renovate your existing facility is a major undertaking. LCEF understands your congregation’s desire to serve people in God’s name while being fiscally responsible. That’s why we offer Congregation Loans for churches within the LCMS.

Rosterd Church Worker Loans
LCEF is pleased to offer home purchase and refinance loans to ordained and commissioned LCMS Rostered Church Workers (RCWs) on active or emeritus status.

Ministry solutions
LCEF’s Capital Campaign helps your ministry to coordinate a fundraising effort designed to raise a specific dollar amount within a three-year giving period. Your Capital Funding Services (CFS) consultant will design a customized program for your LCMS ministry’s unique circumstances.
